HRRL came to the Island with race number 7 of the season. It was a perfect morning for running with little breeze, cool temperatures and some sunshine to lift the spirits.
The Road Runners were well represented with an impressive 29 club runners completing the hilly course around Ryde.
The first 3 home for the boys were Tom Forster, Guy Mattinson and Jon Bye. Trish Train, Carolyn Littleton and Hannah East made up the first girls team.
This tough course does not give up 10 mile PBs easily, but special congratulations to Lindsay Mattinson, Amy Webster and Michelle Wooldridge who all set themselves a new 10 mile benchmark.
Congratulations to those that placed in their age categories: Trish Train winning the V55 category, Steve Bennett for his win in V65, Sue Hunter won the V65s and Lucy Deville was runner up in the vet 70 category.
