Sunday 28th July 2019
Our 10 mile road race takes place along a scenic route where you can soak up the hills & stunning views of the countryside to the south west of the Island’s capital town of Newport including an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and views of Carisbrooke Castle.
The race will be limited to a field of 300 entrants and this will be our fifth year of hosting, so we are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, and of course, some new ones. Runners of all abilities are welcome!
Parking is available at the nearby Shide Trees, just off of Shide Road with a short walk along Dairy Lane to Race HQ.
Facilities at Race HQ include registration, race number collection, bag drop, WC’s and refreshments.
The race is chip timed and there will be a 2.5 hour cut-off.
Click here to view the route online at mapometer.com – There will be water stations at 2.3 miles, 5 miles and 8.2 miles, and at the finish.
Medals are awarded to all finishers.
Prizes awarded for 1st man and 1st lady across the finish line, individual age category for ladies and men as well as team prizes. Presentations to take place at Race HQ following the race.
