The Isle of Wight Road Runners take part in the Hampshire Road Race League.
Races vary from 5 miles to half marathon distances. All the races take place on Sundays between September and June.
Races are on road, with locations throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The courses range from flat to undulating. Some races allow entry on the day, however it is not advised to leave it too late to enter these popular races.

- October 1st : Solent Half
- October 29th : New Forest 10m
- November 5th : Hayling 10m
- November 19th : Gosport Half
- December 3rd : Victory 5m
- January 7th : Stubbington 10k
- February 4th : Ryde 10m
- March 17th : Salisbury 10m
- May 12th : Alton 10m
- May 19th : Netley 10k
- June 16th : Alresford 10k
- July 7th : Lordshill 10k
The club usually has attendees at all of the above races and transport arrangements will be made on our Facebook page. IWRR’s make outings to races a social activity with the encouragement of post-race cakes a must for all.
