Ian Dyer and friends took on the enormous challenge to circumnavigate the island over two days. The course stuck mainly to the coastal path which can be hilly and uneven under foot making it a hard run.
The course is 70 miles long and was to raise money for Graeme Blenkinsop who sadly passed away 2006. Day 1 covered 37 miles starting East Cowes and finishing Grange Farm Campsite in Brighstone. Sunday saw them start at the campstie running 31 miles finishing at Cowes High School, passing those that ran the Needles XC Half Marathon.
A brilliant feat for an excellent cause, well done Ian!
