First run in 1980, this little jaunt around the Bristol countryside is one of the oldest 10k races in the UK.
Starting at UWE campus, BlackBerry Hill, this scenic but undulating course winds its way around the Frenchay area visiting the Bridge, the Common and the Park before returning to the UWE.
Our studious Immanuel Skeet, donned his Roadrunners vest to take on the course whilst studying in the city.
“Hopefully that was the first race of many” he says on Facebook later in the evening “All in all it was very nice, even with those naughty hills”
Immanuel ran brilliantly to romp home in a respectable 45.57.
