On the same day as HRRL Alton 10 Miles we had two IOWRR’s travel across to Lymington to partake in the annual Lifeboat 10k. The race is run on quiet country lanes, wide tracks and the Solent sea wall. The surface is flat on paved roads and gravel tracks, making it a fast course although all had to contend with high temperatures and blazing sunshine.
