10 IOWRR crossed the water to participate in the New Forest festival of running on an overcast Sunday.
The new look event attracted 5,000 runners for the four races – a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K.
It was started by Olympic athlete and Commonwealth Games medallist Liz Yelling at its new home in New Park, Brockenhurst after moving from New Milton.
All our runners completed the off road Half Marathon, a stunning course running through the heart of the New Forest. A blend of forest enclosures, open roads, far reaching views and of course, famous New Forest Ponies.
Some excellent running from all, an undulating off road course so a special well done to Calli and Lyn for your first half marathon race and to Danny for placing 18th!
