The Brading 10k returned this year, after a year off. This year, in an interesting move, the race was moved to a 6pm start.
The Isle of Wight Road Runners had 20 runners on the start line, all raring to go in the late afternoon sunshine.
First home was our new superstar Louis, who has only recently become old enough to join the club and it was great to see him out there setting the pace, finishing as the 1st junior runner (U20). Simon Randall and Paul Martin completed the first team of IWRR men.
A great performance by the first girls team for IWRR won them a 3rd place medal. Alicia Burr was first home in 50:55, second in her age category, shortly followed by Carolyn Littleton with a great run that won her age category. Charlotte Dollery completed the trio.
Well done also to Sue Hunter, Lucy Deville and Gill Shaw, who dominated the F65 category for an IWRR 1, 2, 3!! Well done ladies.
