Brand new to the HRRL roster for this year, Alresford Rotary Club play host to this annual fundraising event which has raised amount of pounds for charities in the local community there.
Beginning at Arlebury Park, our trusty team of 5 lined up alongside 450 others to embark on the 6 mile journey through the picturesque centre of Alresford before taking to the lanes surrounding the area.
They passed through the Watercress beds, before emerging on the Avenue before returning to Arlebury Park.
Ross Wilkes maintained his rocket reputation by taking an astronomical 13th place overall against some stiff competition from the cream of the county’s runners. Ensuring his place in the overall league rankings was safe as he ticked off his 11th race out of 12, (#team12 as the6 are affectionately known)David Blake was next home in just over a cracking 42 mins. Ladies captain Jodie Wilmott was back to the park next, taking 11th Female overall. Kev Rann gave his usual 100% effort in his #team12 quest. Bridget Keyte completed the teams bidding also completing her 11th league race this season.
