The St Georges 10 miler, is the Road Runners own annual race. A challenging 10 mile course with plenty of undulation, with some serious climbs, not least scaling Nunnery Lane.

The 2023 edition of the run attracted 117 runners, including a sprinkling of mainland runners.

18 IWRRs competed, but a sea of road runners and friends marshalled, supported and organised to make this a great event

The clubs top trio of speedsters were on duty and represented the White, Red and Blue with pride. Josh Price was first home, just 20 seconds ahead of Ross Wilkes. Louis Forster was just 3 minutes behind to complete the tope team and get them into the medals.

For the girls Alice Rayner, Chani Jones and Karen Phillips were the top 3, winning them the 2nd place medal in the team comp.

Well done road runners, a great day for the club!
