{"id":7679,"date":"2022-06-24T00:29:59","date_gmt":"2022-06-24T00:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=7679"},"modified":"2022-06-24T00:29:59","modified_gmt":"2022-06-24T00:29:59","slug":"alresford-10k-hrrl-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=7679","title":{"rendered":"Alresford 10k HRRL #10"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Still a relatively new race to the HRRL calendar, Alresford Rotary Club play host to this annual fundraising event which has so far raised a brilliant amount of pounds for charities in the local community there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This race however is always a bit of a difficult one for those of us who are Isle of Wight Festival goers, as it often tends to clash with that final day of partying, so to muster up the inner strength to refrain from going full throttle on the Saturday night, and then to actually get out of bed on the Sunday morning, deserves a medal all of its own! And what a great inspiration he is for any of our members graduating from the Couch 2 5k programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa later messaged me about the race to say \u201cIt was very lumpy, constant up and downs the whole way!
