The final weekend event for our IOWRR’s, the inaugural Southampton Half Marathon.<\/p>\n

15 IOWRR’s joined the 6,000 participants and we had the support from other road runners cheering us along the route. This event was superbly executed – an undulating course with some great views, four bridges were conquered and the crowd support was absolutely brilliant.<\/p>\n

For some this was the first time they had attempted to race a Half Marathon, so a special well done to those. Despite the number of participants some achieved PB’s by as much as 14 minutes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
