{"id":573,"date":"2015-01-24T17:26:03","date_gmt":"2015-01-24T17:26:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=573"},"modified":"2015-01-24T17:27:12","modified_gmt":"2015-01-24T17:27:12","slug":"brutal-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=573","title":{"rendered":"Brutal 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Today three of our IWRR women traveled to Long Valley, Aldershot to represent the club at the Brutal 10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/brutalrun.co.uk\/race\/women-only\/\">Brutal 10k<\/a>\u00a0was the first women only race for the brand, as the name suggests it&#8217;s a brutal course; consisting of two 5k laps of hills, mud, ice and lots of water. The Brutal 10 also welcome proficient <a href=\"http:\/\/brutalrun.co.uk\/race-info\/canicross\/\">Canicross <\/a>members to run the 5 or 10k with their dogs.<\/p>\n<p>Jodie Giffard and Tarnia Taylor both got times of\u00a01:13:04\u00a0and came in 42nd and 43rd respectively both participating in the 10k run.
