The brainchild of the schools PE teacher Adam Tuck, the event is designed to be accessible to all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have 425 sign ups this year\u201d he says \u201cway more than we ever envisaged in 2015 when we started\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Entrants could choose either 9k, 4.5k or 900m in distance to earn their bespoke bamboo bling at the finishline.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/08FFC021-6AF6-48BC-9BFB-52FA6615C998.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3804\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/08FFC021-6AF6-48BC-9BFB-52FA6615C998.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"577\" height=\"615\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plenty of roadrunners gave up their Sunday mornings to support the event, and were duly rewarded.
