The picturesque backdrop was clearly a huge draw, despite a massive capacity of 13000, (virtually unheard of for a 10k), this race was sold out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2360.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2024\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2360.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2360\" width=\"600\" height=\"384\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the promise of a PB lured so many runners to the startline, as the course is fast and flat. Part of the Great Run series, these races are always slickly organised and well supported.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2359.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2025\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2359.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2359\" width=\"838\" height=\"472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2359.jpg 838w, https:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2359-250x141.jpg 250w, https:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_2359-768x433.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Starting in Anchor Road near to Bristol Cathedral, the course then runs parallel to the harbour and then along to Avon Gorge.
