A hardy 9 people\u00a0travelled\u00a0across for the Victory 5 miles, the last HRRL race of the year. The morning after the night before, being our awards evening so a special well done to those fuelled on curry and a late night!<\/p>\n

They battled wind and rain which made the opportunity of a PB slim but Judy managed it \u2013 the day after winning Woman of the Year at the Club awards, well deserved!<\/p>\n

The course is an out and back starting and finishing on The Mountbatten track, along the sea wall so a very exposed course in windy weather then a loop around Lakeside. Due to being nearly entirely flat this race attracts a high calibre of athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
