Right from the start the course proved challenging. &#8216;The race was hilly from the off, it too me a couple of miles to get into it&#8217;, but Ian persisted and took on every obstacle before getting to the final mile. &#8216;The hardest hill came at the last part&#8217;. What goes up must go down though and Ian finished strongly on the descent to the end.
