Starting at the iconic De La Warr Pavillion, this promenade event offers 3 distances, a 5k, 10k and a half marathon all selling out and raising money for the local Royal British Legion.<\/p>\n<p>Steve entered the half marathon race with his son Rick.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s blowing a bit!\u201d Steve said on his arrival<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/7DC530FB-7EF4-46DA-B561-D7A506F74044.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4831\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/7DC530FB-7EF4-46DA-B561-D7A506F74044.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"2048\" srcset=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/7DC530FB-7EF4-46DA-B561-D7A506F74044.jpeg 2048w, http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/7DC530FB-7EF4-46DA-B561-D7A506F74044-768x768.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He was right too!
