Raising money for the local RNLI, this is running for a good cause at its finest.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Just one of our trusty roadrunners made the journey across the water to compete in the glorious May sunshine.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/66FB2DD2-9C53-485A-B144-D2DAEECC733C.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3869\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/66FB2DD2-9C53-485A-B144-D2DAEECC733C.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"631\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Starting in Woodside Park, Steve Rumsey tackled this fast and flat course as it wound it&#8217;s way around quiet country lanes and wide gravel tracks around the area, before finally emerging out onto the sea wall and back to Woodside Park.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/096AA922-1E00-4350-B4A0-6D3739AE2C1C.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3870\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/096AA922-1E00-4350-B4A0-6D3739AE2C1C.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"429\" height=\"464\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He flew round in a nippy 38.37 to cross the line in 16th place and 2nd V50 bagging himself a PB in the process.
