{"id":3714,"date":"2018-04-17T09:58:46","date_gmt":"2018-04-17T09:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=3714"},"modified":"2018-04-18T08:46:51","modified_gmt":"2018-04-18T08:46:51","slug":"boston-half-marathon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=3714","title":{"rendered":"Boston Half Marathon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Run on the same day as the more famous US marathon the Boston races have a very appealing factor&#8230; they are the flattest marathon and half marathon courses in the country&#8230; FACT.<\/p>\n<p>This year is only the 3rd running of these events, but given the lack of elevation, the entry for them is set to grow and grow.<\/p>\n<p>It was Lyn Snow that made the journey northbound to Lincolnshire. 170 miles away on the East Coast, halfway between Kings Lynn and Skegness, lies the port of Boston and the home of this new race.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/0E108C6E-E15A-469C-98F8-F90572F41934.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3716\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/0E108C6E-E15A-469C-98F8-F90572F41934.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"736\" height=\"529\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Starting at the towns Market area the course meanders to Freistin and then Butterwick.
