So in between hiking and bear spotting, Fay took part in the Canmore Half Marathon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5113.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2719\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5113.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"747\" height=\"325\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve never felt so under prepared and nervous for a race&#8221; fretted Fay the day before the event.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5111.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2720\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5111.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"677\" height=\"649\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Set in the Rocky Mountains this beautiful course ran through the city of Canmore, before meandering its way through woodland, along the Bow River before ascending the winding mountain paths.
