{"id":1660,"date":"2017-02-15T22:03:45","date_gmt":"2017-02-15T22:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=1660"},"modified":"2017-02-15T22:03:45","modified_gmt":"2017-02-15T22:03:45","slug":"portsmouth-coastal-half-marathon-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/?p=1660","title":{"rendered":"Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just 2 Road Runners braved the freezing conditions to tackle the infamous Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon.<br \/>\nDetermined duo, Lyn Snow and Coral Leach lined up for the early start.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1661\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8219.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8219\" width=\"346\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This multi terrain course begins with 4 miles of fantastic views across the Solent from Southsea Seafront, along to South Parade Pier and The Pyramid Centre.<br \/>\nThe off road section then took our ladies along Milton Foreshore and up to Portsmouth Watersports Centre, looping down to Milton Common and back along the infamous \u201cMuddy Beach section\u201d (Luckily for them, this year the tide was out and they kept their feet dry)\u00a0They then romped home to glory with a nice 3 miles back along the seafront.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1662\" src=\"http:\/\/isleofwightroadrunners.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8247-540x478.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8247\" width=\"540\" height=\"478\" \/><br \/>\nFinishing times were Coral Leach 2.49.48 and Lyn Snow 2.57.15.<br \/>\nGreat running ladies, you earned those medals today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just 2 Road Runners braved the freezing conditions to tackle the infamous Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon.
